Hello! Welcome to my Splatoon shrine! While most people would use a space like this to explain what the game is about and why they like it, I’m going to be pretty much just gushing over worldbuilding and salmon run because I only got into the games when the third one came out and I don’t exactly have much to say about the idols and turf war, which is pretty much the main draw of the games lmao.
Though for a little bit of context, Splatoon is a series of first person shooters, where gameplay is less about getting kills and more about claiming territory in Turf Wars. There is also an additional game mode introduced in Splatoon 2 called Salmon Run, which is a cooperative mode against computer enemies, and a single player campaign that does a good job introducing the player to the various weapons and mechanics of the multiplayer half.
